Will Caldwell promises that there’s something for everyone during the 19th season of Ketch’em Alive concerts.

Indeed the free Tuesday night concerts, which typically attract about 800 people, will span the genres from Irish rock to reggae.

“We’ve got some new bands, such as a reggae group called Tatanka; Brad Parsons, a country rock/Americana musician, and Afrosonics, an Afro-indie group. And The Fourth of July concert will feature Swagger, an Irish rock band from Salt Lake that hasn’t played here for three years.

Ketch’em Alive kicks off on Tuesday, June 19, and runs through Aug. 14. Concerts start with a 30-minute opening act featuring local bands. Headline bands will play from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Ketchum Forest Service, First and Washington streets.

Picnics are welcome and there will be some new food and drink vendors on Washington Street between the Limelight Hotel and Forest Service Park.

Music lovers will get a bonus concert when Victoria Vox performs on Fourth of July. Vox, a singer/songwriter and ukulele player, will perform from 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 4 at the Ketchum Town Square.

“She writes her own songs—uplifting type of music,” Caldwell said. “I know there’s a lot of activity in Hailey on Fourth of July, but people are up here in Ketchum, too.”

Here’s the lineup for Ketch’em Alive:

June 19—Wildflowers, a Wood River tribute to Tom Petty

June 26—Yak Attack, electronic and acoustic fusion

July 3—Swagger, Irish rock

July 4—Victoria Vox, singer/songwriter and ukulele player, Ketchum town Square

July 10—The Heaters, class rock dance and party music

July 17—Tatanka, roots reggae

July 24—Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Americana

July 31—Brad Parsons Band, country rock

Aug. 7—Afrosonics, Afro-indie and funk

Aug. 14—Trevor Green, didgeridoo and guitar

This year’s sponsors are Limelight Hotel, My Sun Valley Home, Atkinsons’ Markets, DL Evans Bank, Springcreek Foundation, Pioneer Saloon, Barry Peterson’s Jeweler and Hailey Orthopedic.
