A gypsy jazz group, Quebecois folk trio and Grammy-nominated Cuban duo will be among the performers in the Sun Valley Center for the Arts’ 2018-19 Performing Arts Series.

Series tickets go on sale to members only at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7. Individual tickets for members only go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14.

All remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21.

The lineup:

  • Rhythm Future Quartet, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Sun Valley Opera House.

Billed as New England’s premier gypsy jazz group, this acoustic jazz ensemble is named for a Django Reinhardt tune.

  • War and Treaty, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Sun Valley Opera House.

Michael Trotter, who comprises half of this husband-wife duo, was encouraged to pursue a musical career after an Army captain heard him singing and playing a piano in one of Saddam Hussein’s bombed out palaces where they were encamped.

Michael was then pulled from the front lines to write and perform songs for the fallen after officers took note of a tribute he wrote for that captain upon his death. He met his wife Tanya at a music festival and the two joined voices to create a full-length album named “Healing Tide” that’s notable for its funky bass lines and swampy Southern soul.

  • Bon Debarras, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at The Argyros.

This trio featuring a Montreal banjo picker, guitar player and fiddler fuses Quebecois folk music and traditional step dancing with other folk traditions.

The group will stage an educational outreach with elementary school students in the Wood River Valley, thanks to sponsor Bex Wilkinson and the Marshall Frankel Foundation with support from Lloyd Construction and Neil Zussman and Cathy Whinnery.

  • The Sweet Remains, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at The Argyros.

The three guitar toting troubadours that make up this trio are distinguished by their harmonies, which hearken back to groups like the Eagles and Simon & Garfunkel.

Educational outreaches are supported in part with funds from the Western States Arts Federation, the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

  • International Guitar, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, at The Argyros.

This is the third straight year Sun Valley Center has offered an International Guitar Night featuring some of the best guitar musicians in the world playing a variety of styles. Germany’s gypsy jazz legend Lulo Reinhardt will return as the show’s host, for IGN’s 18th year of touring.

He will be joined by Calum Graham, a young Canadian contemporary performer whose two-handed style has attracted millions of YouTube viewers; Marek Pasieczny, Poland’s innovative classical composer who has written for orchestras around the world, and award winning American guitarist Michael Chapdelain, a professor of music at the University of New Mexico who has won both the Guitar Foundation of America Classical Guitar Competition and the National Fingerstyle Championship for steel string guitar.

  • Alfredo Rodriguez and Pedrito Martinez, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at The Argyros.

These GrammyAward-nominated artists have been mesmerizing audiences with their virtuosic playing off and on since 2012.

Jazz pianist Alfredo Rodriguez was schooled in the rigorous classical conservatories of Havana, his music informed as much by Bach and Stravinsky as it is by his Afro Cuban and jazz roots. Drummer Martinez, who learned how to play Cuba’s conga drums in the Cayo Hueso neighborhood of Old Havana, has performed with such artists as Paul Simon, Sting and Wynton Marsalis.
