If your paper’s been stacking up, rejoice.
Blaine County Commissioners announced that they will resume paper recycling effective April 1—and that’s not an April’s Fool’s joke.
But the county will accept only newspaper and printer/copier paper.
Recycling requires the highest level of purity, which means the product needs to be free of contaminants. Restricting paper recycling to these three types of paper ensures that the county can achieve the highest level of purity.
Paper for recycling will not be picked up if it’s mixed with other materials. For more information, call 208-788-5574.
Blaine County is continuing to explore other recycling opportunities.
