Get your calm on when the Flourish Foundation offers a three-week series on Meditations for Benevolence.
The series will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays on May 2, 9 and 16 at the Flourish Foundation office at 1030 Airport Way in Hailey.
Teachers are Ryan Redman and Noah Koski.
They will teach practical strategies for cultivating compassion, which the Dalai Lama calls not religious business but human business essential for our own peace and mental stability and for human survival.
Compassion, research says, alleviates symptoms of emotional fatigue and burnout and imparts personal resilience. Redman calls it the essential ground for positive social change.
Cost is $60. For more information, email paige@flourishfoundation.org.
