The Bellevue Artist Alliance is planning on holding an Open Studios tour in July. And it’s looking for artists who live in Bellevue or in the Triangle area south of Bellevue to open their studios to the public on Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28.
The event will include a week-long group exhibit at Silver Creek Hotel, an artist reception on Friday, July 26, and an opportunity to have the public see artists at work the following two days.
The Bellevue Artist Alliance (BAA) was formed a few years ago to raise awareness of the number and quality of artists in the Bellevue area.
Members have the opportunity to exhibit at 7Fuego, Mountain West Bank in Hailey, the Bellevue Library and The Trader. They also are represented on the BAA website with links provided to the artist’s web or social media sites.
And their personal exhibits, events and new art are showcased on the BAA Facebook page.
The cost of participating in the Open Studios tour plus membership in BAA is $100 and helps pay for brochures, maps, fliers and media outreach. Those who cannot participate in the Open Studios can join the BAA as a member for $20, which includes web listing, Facebook showcasing and opportunities to exhibit their art.
