Artisans and craftsmen will take advantage of the longest days of summer to launch The Market in Ketchum.
The Market—a gathering of music and food and unique handcrafted and vintage goods--will kick off with a party on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hotel Ketchum, 600 N. Main St. It will continue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The Market will feature handmade jewelry, custom screen printing and leather goods.
“With Bald Mountain as the backdrop at the hip outdoor setting of Hotel Ketchum, we are thrilled to bring people together over three days, providing unique access to beautiful products, wonderful food and great DJs,”said Susan Nieves, owner of Independent Goods and co-founder of The Market with her husband Mark Nieves. “It’s also a chance for people to see first hand how hard the makers, vintage curators and chefs all work to follow their passions.”
The event is organized by Diane Stewart-Heiner, the artisan behind Whytecloud Mountain Gems, and Morgan Buckert who does her native state of Texas proud with her handcrafted Morgan Buckert Custom Boots.
