Residents of the Wood River Valley who are 60 or older have a new perk:
A handsome little Gold Card you can wear around your neck!
The card provided by the Blaine County School District offers free entry to most athletic events in the school district, as well as personalized invitations to school music performances, theater plays and other school events.
The idea is to get those who do not have children in school more involved with the schools, said School Superintendent GwenCarol Holmes.
Patrons may apply online at www.blaineschools.org or in person at any school or the Blaine County School District office at 118 W. Bullion St., in Hailey.
