Seek warmth and healing at two Winter Solstice events on Saturday.

  • Brenda Powell is offering a Dark Side of the Moon Winter Solstice Warm and Healing Yoga class open to the public from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Zenergy Health Club and Spa in Ketchum.

Admission is a cash donation or donation of canned food for The Hunger Coalition.

Specific healing yoga sequences will be utilized to detoxify and rejuvenate those worn down by the frenetic energies on the holidays. And—you guessed it—they will all be performed to the sounds of Pink Floyd amidst soothing candlelight.

  • There also will be a Women’s Winter Solstice Celebration from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Roots Enrichment Center, 100 Mustang Lane in Bellevue.

The day will kick off with Sunrise Meditation and yoga and end with a potluck dinner. The schedule:

8 a.m.-Sunrise Meditation and Yoga with Cathie Caccia--$20

9:30-10 a.m. Tea and Tarot. Free

10 a.m. Astrology Archetypes—a 2020 Preview with Erica Linson. $20.
