The Sun Valley Culinary Institute in Ketchum is back with a new round of foodie classes beginning Sept. 17 and extending through Sept. 30.
These classes will feature a couple guest chefs, in addition to the Institute’s Chef Chris Koetke.
One is Chris Kastner of CK’s who is well known to Sun Valley foodies.
The other is Chef Naomi Everett from Alaska. Everett, who has worked as an executive chef remote camp cook and more for 23 years, won the Great Alaska Seafood Cookoff and has competed in two Great American Seafood Cookoff competitions in New Orleans.

Sept. 17: Discover Alaska Cuisine with Chef Naomi Everett
Sept. 18: Last Gasp of Summer with Chef Chris Kastner
Sept. 19: Italian Cooking for Teens with Chef Naomi Everett.
Sept. 22: Treasure of the Bering Sea with Chef Naomi Everett.
Sept. 23: Idaho Means Lamb
Sept. 26: What’s in the Ocean Beyond Fish? Shellfish class with Chris Koetke
Sept. 30: Basic Knife Skills with Chef Chris Koetke.
The Culinary Institute takes strict COVID precautions, capping classes at eight participants, physically distancing participants by at least six feet, requiring masks and more.
