The Crisis Hotline and The Building Material Thrift store are celebrating their first anniversary of working together with “Recycling Hope,” a charity event and auction.
The event, being held online and in-person with limited seating, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19.
A live auctioneer will orchestrate bidding on some unique items that have been donated to the Building Material Thrift store. They include his and hers matching Trek Coasting bicycles, an antique hall tree, rabbit fur coat, Sak’s Fifth Avenue Regency pure cashmere coat, Ritchey mountain bike, vintage Secretary Desk and model train set.
Guest speakers will discuss the impacts and accomplishments the collaboration has achieved. In-person and virtual attendees will be offered the chance to donate in a Paddle Up. And refreshments will be provided those who participate in person.
