The new Family Health Services is now up and running in Bellevue.
The community health center located at 621 N. Main St. was founded to offer affordable, accessible medical, dental, behavioral and pharmaceutical services to patients of all ages.
The clinic is currently offering medical services including general medicine, pediatrics, care management, health education, labs and vaccines. It plans to expand to include dental and behavioral health services and a pharmacy in March 2022.
The clinic accepts all forms of insurance, including Medicaid. A sliding fee discount based on income will be offered patients without insurance.
The medical clinic hopes to have a grand opening for the public in mid-March, according to Karlie Haskins, the marketing communications specialist for the clinic.
This is the tenth addition to Family Health Service’s network of clinics throughout Southern Idaho. The clinic in Blaine County was made possible with a $1 million donation from St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation.
At each appointment, staff will address social barriers patients face related to housing, transportation, access to food and other needs, then connect patients with community resources that may be able to address those needs.
Family Health Services is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that has served residents of South Central Idaho since 1982. In 2021 its centers tallied 149,736 patient visits.
