The soup ladles were idle in 2021 as the pandemic sucked the fun out of so many of the iconic events that give character to the life of the Wood River Valley and Stanley.
But a rich array of homemade soups from chile verde to tortellini found their way back to the stove as the Sawtooth Ski Club threw its 20th annual Sawtooth Ski Festival to raise money to pay for grooming at Alturas Lake, Park Creek and the trails outside the Stanley School.
