Though you can continue to ride bikes on Galena trails after Sunday, you won’t be able to top it off with a season-ending brunch.

No doubt residents of Stanley can’t wait to see the snow fall after having to suffer through two humongous fires, including the Bench Lake Fire which threatened Redfish Lake and Lodge, and the massive Wapiti Fire, which threatened the equally beautiful Stanley Lake, as well as the town itself.

The rest of us may not be quite so anxious to see the end of summer, but there it is—Galena Lodge is getting ready to bid adieu to Summer 2024.

The lodge’s closing day is set for Sunday, Sept. 15. The lodge will serve Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. amidst live music on the deck.

And those who love Galena are invited to come out for one more hike or bike ride on surrounding trails while taking advantage of a 40-percent-off sale on bike jerseys, shorts, pants, pads and chamois.

Winter is just two short months off, unless Mother Nature throws a wrench in the calendar schedule.  The Blaine County Recreation District will begin selling Nordic season ski passes in mid-October. And Galena Lodge plans to open for the winter season on Friday, Nov. 22.

Reservations for Full Moon Dinners, winter yurt stays and group ski clinics are being taken at https://www.galenalodge.com/
