Elaine Kim, who will provide the fashions, was born in Korea and grew up in the United States where she graduated from the University of California-Berkeley. She then attended the Sorbonne in Paris and began her fashion career by founding ECRU, a Los Angeles boutique that introduced cutting-edge European brands to the U.S. market.
Today, Kim--who has a Ketchum Boutique at 411 5th St. East--is known for introducing “quiet luxury” with fashion designs that are travel-friendly, easy-to-layer and suitable as day-to-evening separates, dresses and outerwear. Her designs have been featured in numerous publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Marie Claire.
