You probably spent New Year’s Day relaxing after a busy New Year’s Eve skiing, partying and watching fireworks at Sun Valley Resort.

It’s time to get back to upping your activity quotient in keeping with life in Sun Valley.

The Sun Valley Museum of Art will help you do that tonight with its First Friday of 2026, a free gathering filled with art, music and connection.

Enjoy the live beats of DJ JackRabbit Slim. Explore SVMoA’s new exhibit “Hidden Gems: Idaho Collects,” which features locals’ treasures from such artists as Andy Warhol. And sip a drink while mingling with friends and neighbors.

The fun starts at 5 p.m. tonight—Friday, Jan. 2—at 191 5th St. E. in Ketchum.
