Idaho’s original Bob Marley celebration returns to Hailey on Saturday with the authentic mountain town experience known as Reggae in the Mountains.

Mountain Niceness Productions is presenting the homage to the legacy of Bob Marley from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at The Liberty Theater in Hailey.

The evening of uplifting music and good vibes will feature Roots Reggae, a Salt Lake City band founded in 2004 by Jan van der Beek and Esi Lautaimi.

The band gained international recognition with their album “Words of Jah,” which was voted the No. 3 Reggae Album of 2012 on Reggaeville.com. The band members, all of whom trace their heritage to New Zealand, Tonga and Samoa, focus on messages of unity, love and consciousness.

Richi V7, a fresh new artist with a unique reggae sound, will open the show. DJ/Selector Kingfisher Sound will also infuse some Irie selections into the night.

Tickets are $35, available at https://www.libertytheaterhailey.com/events/raggae-in-the-mountains-2026.
