Thirty years of picking up trash.

That’s the case with the Environmental Resource Center, which is holding its 30th annual Clean Sweep event for the community on Saturday, May 2.

Adults and children alike are invited to join in the fun, which is being sponsored by Cox Communications, from 9 a.m. to noon. Check in at one of three locations:

ERC Office in Ketchum at 471 Washington Ave.

Hop Porter Park by the arch in Hailey at 126 Bullion St.

Memorial Park in Bellevue between Cedar and Elm streets

Participants will be provided with gloves, trash bags and a map indicating drop-off points for collected trash.

The ERC will greet participants with breakfast snacks and hot drinks. Lunch vouchers will also be handed out to reward volunteers for their efforts.

Picker-uppers are encouraged to capture memorable moments and interesting items they find during the event and share the photos on their social media accounts, tagging @ERCsunvalley. At least one lucky sharer will win a prize.

Questions? Call 208-726-4333 or email the ERC’s Executive Director Ashton Wilson at ashton@ercsv.org.
