Jazz in the Park returns on Sunday just in time for the Summer Solstice.

Travis McDaniel Band will kick things off for the free concert series that runs through July 26 in Rotary Park.

Concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday through July 26. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and low-back chairs or blankets.

“This is our 24th year and this series features the best of Idaho's "jazz fusion" musicians in four bands from Boise featuring women lead singers,” said organizer Will Caldwell. “Also, valley local Travis McDaniels and his band, and Adrienne Haan the famous cabaret singer.” from NYC
