The trees around Ketchum’s Memory Park have begun sprouting colored ribbons in shades of red, yellow, green and blue as The Advocates raise funds to provide emergency shelter, early childcare and other services for Wood River Valley residents.

These Ribbons of Hope can still be purchased and hung on the trees—a visual reminder of a community that cares—through Friday.

Residents can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance at such prizes as a vacation in Park City for up to eight; two nights at the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch, a Sun Valley season ski pass, $1,000 worth of gift certificates to 10 local restaurants, a Jackson Hole getaway and a Zenergy Health Club membership.

Raffle tickets cost $25 each, and the drawing will be held Monday, June 29. Ribbons and raffle tickets can be purchased at https://event.auctria.com/e0a8d087-02dc-474e-9254-69df8057c61f/.

Shannon Nichols said The Advocates are grateful for the way the community has shown up at last week’s Ribbon Raise cocktail party and in purchasing ribbons and raffle tickets.

“We’ve raised $500,000,” she said.
