Boulder Mountain Clayworks will hold its Ceramics in the Garden benefit on Wednesday, July 15.
The benefit, dubbed “Birds of a Feather Pot Together,” will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden at Gimlet Road and Highway 75.
The event will feature a live auction for a bird house sculpture, a stay at a cabin in Stanley, a golf package at Big Wood and a pass to Zenergy Health Club and Spa in Ketchum. There also will be a silent auction of studio potters’ creations.
Food will be provided by NourishMe, Salted Sprig, Ketchum Grill, Better Ask Brenda, At Your Service Catering, Chef Sydney Meryl and Brooke Hovey. Tickets, available at https://bouldermtnclay.org/, include complimentary ceramic wine cups made by potters for the occasion.
Boulder Mountain Clayworks, located at 471 E. 10th St. in Ketchum, offers Youth Clay Summer Camps with such themes as Dragons and Unicorns, Gnomes and Garden Critters, Under the Sea and Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
It also offers family and adult camps making a wide array of beautiful creations, including candle sticks, water pitches and mugs.
Additionally, the studio invites the community in to create bowls for the Empty Bowls fundraiser held every winter. Attendees can pick a bowl from hundreds made and fill it with soup and salad donated by local restaurants to raise money for such causes as the Blaine County Charitable Fund.
