The Caritas Chorale will spread “Tidings of Comfort & Joy” when it holds its free Christmas Concert and Carol Sing-A-Long Saturday and Sunday.


The Chorale will present familiar and new songs at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 201 Sun Valley Road.


Artistic Director R.L. Rowsey and Assistant Director Joel Bejot will lead the chorale through a contemporary arrangement of Kirby Shaw’s “Winter Wonderland,” as well as Mark Hayes’ “Somewhere in My Memory,” Douglas E. Wagner’s “Once in Cold December,” Victor C. Johnson’s “Stars I Shall Find,” and Audrey Snyder’s “Tidings of Comfort and Joy.”


The chorale will also present Evan Ramos’s “O Magnum Mysterium,” the traditional “Ding Dong Merrily on High” and John Rutter’s arrangement of “Good Christian Men Rejoice.”


Admission is free. But donations are appreciated and Sunday’s donations will be given to The Hunger Coalition.
