Rotarun Ski Area was one of a thousand Mom and Pop ski hills across the upper United States during the 1960s. And, while more than half of those have shut down their rope tows, Rotarun continues to thrive, serving Master’s racers, Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation racers, children learning to ski and families who spend weekends together at the hill.

SVSEF’s Heather Foster recently unveiled five historical plaques charting Rotarun’s nearly 75-year history with the help of a grant from the Wood River Women’s Foundation. Today’s Eye on Sun Valley video takes you to the scene.
