The Sun Valley Community School celebrated the hard work of two of its athlete students as they signed NCAA letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level.

Sophia Falter will be attending the University of Nevada-Reno as a member of the school’s alpine ski team. And Mikayla Wesley will compete on the cross-country running team for Claremont McKenna-Harvey Mudd-Scripps.

"I am excited for this next chapter, skiing Division 1 for University of Nevada-Reno,” said Falter. “I am thankful for all the support I've received from Sun Valley Ski Academy and the teachers and classmates at Sun Valley Community School. And I especially would like to thank the staff and coaches at Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation who have been instrumental in my journey."

"I am thrilled to continue my running career at the collegiate level,” said Wesley. “I wouldn't be where I am without the support of my coaches throughout the years, my SVCS teammates, and my teachers."
