Members of Colla Voce, dressed in T-shirts and sweat pants, took a break in their four-hour rehearsal Wednesday night to walk from the Liberty Theatre to the Blaine County Historical Museum two blocks away.

There they crowded in around displays featuring century-old cash registers and tea sets as they continued their rehearsal. And the young woman, who won Gold at the Heritage Music Festival in Anaheim, sang “God Bless America” and another song for those attending A Night at the Museum.

The 11 Wood River High School students who make up the elite women’s singing group will shake off the sweatpants and don their red stage dresses on Friday and Saturday night when they present A Night at the Liberty.

The concerts, under the direction of John Mauldin, start at 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31 at The Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

Admission to the concerts, which will include an hour of familiar songs, is free. But donations are welcome.
