Firefighters from four fire departments responded to West Hailey for a residential structure fire early Monday morning.

Residents of the home reported the fire to Blaine County Dispatch just after 2 a.m. They were able to evacuate without injury.

Firefighters from the Hailey Fire Department, Blaine County South Fire District, Bellevue Fire Department and Sun Valley Fire Department knocked down the fire about 3 a.m. The fire was called out just before 6 a.m.

Investigator from the Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office were summoned to determine the cause of the fire.

The Hailey Volunteer Firefighters Association is using funds from their Burn Out fund to put the homeowners up in a hotel room until they can assess the condition of the home.

“I wish to thank our auto aid partners in quick response and successful containment of this fire,” said Hailey Fire Operations Chief Jamie Hoover. “Our commitment to public safety is upheld through strong partnerships.”
