Check out the newest sculptures in the Sawtooth Botanical Garden’s $1.15 million art collection. Stroll amidst the five-acre garden’s luscious late season blooms. And top it all off with a variety of wines and paired appetizers as you take in the garden’s lovely Walk, Wine + Art.

The Sawtooth Botanical Garden will hold its late August fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the garden, which is located five miles south of Ketchum.

Guests will receive a Walk, Wine + Art passport guiding them through the wine tasting stations with descriptions of wine, tapas and artwork. Ketchum Kitchens and Barrett Family Wines have contributed premium wines, and Sun Valley caterer Eileen Reiss will serve up tasty appetizers.

You’d be surprised how beautiful the garden is still as it heads towards fall.

The Beverly Lovers team of Aly Wepplo and David Janeski will cover popular tunes in their two-part harmony. And Jolyon Sawrey, the garden’s past board chair, will team up with SBG Vice Chair Juliet Romano and SBG Executive Director Jen Smith to talk about the garden’s $800,000 campaign to purchase the property it sits on.

Guests will also get the chance to partake in a Mystery Wine Pull raffle where $10 could get them a $250 bottle of wine or a two-buck chuck. There’ll be beer and non-alcoholic drinks in the Priscilla Draper Visitor Center, along with a wine case raffle and a silent auction for a fine art piece by multi-media artist Phranc.

Tickets are $100, available at https://www.sbgarden.org/events/art-walk-wine.

“It’s a great way to showcase the fabulous wines available at Ketchum Kitchens and a great way to wind down after the busy summer season and ponder the Garden’s amazing art collection,” said Jen Smith.
