The Hispanic Heritage Fest, which enlivened a fall afternoon in Hailey last weekend, is moving south to Bellevue this weekend.

The free festival will feature music by Quinta Generacion and Kanu, as well as folk dancing from noon until 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Bellevue Memorial Park.

There’ll also be art and other activities, tables providing information about community resources and, of course, food.

“It’s an event designed to bring community together,” said Herbert Romero, who started the annual festival several years ago.

The event, is sponsored by Herbert Romero’s Projectoolsuccess, D.L. Evans Bank, Latinos in Action, Papoose Club, Crisis Hotline, St. Luke’s, Power Engineers, Kiwanis, WIG, H Property Service, Idaho Central, Fast Fix Asphalt and La Perruna.
