Civil discourse? Is it possible in this day and age?

Idaho Solutions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing good governance, will present a bipartisan panel on Civil Discourse at 5:30 tonight—Thursday, Nov. 6—at Ketchum’s Community Library.

The discussion will focus on practical strategies for engaging respectfully, even with those whose views differ from ours.

It will feature Re. Josh Wheeler, a Republican from Ammon; Rep. Chris Mathias, a Democrat from Boise, and Mary Pat Gunderson, a retired Iowa district court judge living in the Wood River Valley.

Each panelist will share opening remarks before engaging in a Q&A with the audience.

Idaho Solutions advocates for sustainable tax structures, educational excellence and economic prosperity. It is taking its traveling panel to Ketchum, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, Coeur d’Alene to help communities strengthen relationships, improve communication and find common ground on challenging issues.
