World renowned photographers Paul Nicklen and Cristina Mittermeier are coming to Ketchum.
While here, they will hold a presentation at The Argyros, and they will take part in a Meet & Greet and Book Signing at Sun Valley Contemporary Gallery.

The two photographers, who are known for their photographs that champion conservation and wildlife, will take part in a Meet & Greet from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Sun Valley Contemporary Gallery.
The gallery in the East Avenue Courtyard has displayed their works since opening in Ketchum a couple years ago.
There will be a curated showcase of new and limited edition works, and the couple’s book will be available for purchase. People will be able to chat with the artists over wine.
The couple will share stories from their adventures in art, exploration and conservation at The Argyros from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at The Argyros. The presentation will include breathtaking visuals a Q&A and a casual reception with drinks.

“They’ve very big in the conservation world—very famous,” said Joanna Woronowicz, marketing manager for Sun Valley Contemporary Gallery. “When we threw an event in Whistler last March, we had 400 people attend--some flying in from all over the world to see them do a presentation.”
The couple’s smallest pieces go for $8,000 and their largest ones for $80,000. They mainly photograph wildlife, spending weeks hiking in forests or traveling to the middle of the ocean and Antarctica just trying to get to the shots they want.
