The Christina Potters Ice Rink has officially opened for the winter season, despite temperatures approaching 50 degrees during the second week of January.
The City of Ketchum will run the ice rink from 10 a.m. to dark seven days a week, weather permitting.
The rink will be closed to the public on Saturday, Jan. 17, for Ketchum’s Annual Pond Hockey Tournament.
Skates, sticks, pucks and helmets are available free of charge for all visitors until 5 p.m. daily.
The rink is located in the shadow of Bald Mountain at Atkinsons Park next to Hemingway STEAM School on West Eighth Street.
