The Sun Valley Music Festival Institute will offer musical instruction for students of all abilities from July 27 to Aug. 8 during the Sun Valley Music Festival’s Summer Season.

The music education program is now in its 28th year.

Students in grades 2-12 can attend programs for most orchestral instruments, voice and piano Aug. 3 through 7.

College undergraduates and exceptional high school students studying piano, strings and voice can participate in the Advanced Chamber Program from July 27 to Aug. 8.

The workshops are taught by Festival musicians, conductors and guest artists, including conductor Stephanie Childress, pianist Orion Weiss and soloists Christina Pier and Benjamin Appl.

Students will have the opportunity to perform on the Sun Valley Pavilion stage at the end of their week.

Students pay only nominal registration and materials fees, thanks to the generosity of Music Festival donors.
