Get the low-down on this summer’s wildfire forecast and learn about wildfire insurance in a free event presented by the Sawtooth Valley Wildland Fire Collaborative.


The free event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 12, at the Stanley Community Building in Stanley.


Attendees will hear from the U.S. Wildland Fire Service, about lessons learned from past wildfires in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, fire prevention priorities and from panelists discussing wildfire insurance.


Coffee and lunch will be provided.

The Sawtooth Valley Wildland Fire Collaborative is under the umbrella of the Sawtooth Society.
