Summer in Sun Valley isn’t waiting until June 21, the first official day of summer.

It gets started on Friday, June 12, with a comedy show featuring Don Friesen, a relatively clean performer who lampoons his life as a suburban husband and father; Meaghan Elwood, a Seattle comic known for her Moms Unhinged comedy, and Keith Barany, known for his Dry Bar Comedy, at the Sun Valley Pavilion.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at https://www.sunvalley.com/events/summer-stand-up-comedy-showcase/.

That’s just for starts. Sun Valley Ballet will be back on June 27 and 28—this time with performances from Pacific Northwest Ballet. And, of course, the Sun Valley Music Festival will be back for three-plus weeks beginning in late July.

Sun Valley on Ice kicks off on Wednesday, July 1 and continues July 18 and 25, Aug. 8 and 29 and Sept. 5.

And the Grammy Award-winning Portugal, The Man, will take over the Sun Valley Pavilion on Sept. 6.

In between, you can enjoy the music of Electric Avenue—the 80s MTV band on June 30, the Baldy Bluebird Music Festival with Brothers Osborne and Chase Rice  July 3-4 and Yoga and Pop-Up Pilates at River Run and in Sun Valley Village.
