The summer of 2026 has been an extraordinary one for the Sun Valley Figure Skating Club. From national competitions to hosting one of the largest summer competitions in the western United States, Sun Valley skaters continue to demonstrate excellence, determination, and sportsmanship.

National Success

As the 2026 competition season continues, Sun Valley skaters are making their mark on the national stage. At the 2026 Dallas Classic, Olivia Olson earned first-place finishes in both the Juvenile Solo Free Dance and Willow Waltz, along with a second-place finish in Bronze Shadow Dance with partner Charlotte Evans. She currently holds the No. 2 national ranking and the No. 1 Pacific Coast Section ranking in Juvenile Solo Ice Dance.

The Club also celebrated three skaters qualifying for the 2026 Excel National Finals:

Olivia Olson – 7th, Excel Intermediate Plus Women

Sasha Irvine – 13th, Excel Preliminary Plus Girls

Valentina Holman – 15th, Excel Juvenile Girls

Qualifying for a national championship is an incredible accomplishment and reflects the dedication of our athletes, coaches, and families.
