Wood River Valley residents are being asked to don red, white and blue and join Americans across the country in Tuesday’s Free America Walkout.

The walkout, timed to mark a year into President Donald Trump’s second regime, is asking people to walk out of work and school across the country.

In Hailey a sign waving rally will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, on the northwest corner of Main Street and McKercher Road across from Albertsons. The rally is timed to occur during the drive-home hour.

Rallygoers say they are exhorting Americans to walk away from facism and walk towards a Free America, while taking a peaceful stand for accountability, fairness and dignity for all.
