The BCRD is celebrating its 50th anniversary at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 25, the BCRD Aquatic Center in Hailey with open swim, ice cream and an evening of fun for families, kids and community members of all ages.

“The Aquatic Center is such a special part of summer in Blaine County,” said Mark Davidson, BCRD Executive Director. “Events like this give our team a chance to welcome the community, celebrate BCRD’s history and create a fun evening for families and swimmers of all ages.”

The event is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to bring swimsuits, towels, and friends for an evening of swimming and ice cream at the pool.

The BCRD, founded in 1976, manages the pool plus 200 kilometers of cross country ski and mountain biking trails, Galena Lodge and BCRD Fitworks gym, while offering diverse youth and adult programs.
