Idaho Gubernatorial candidate John Stegner will meet with residents of the Wood River Valley today as part of his statewide Do the Work Tour.

Stegner will be at Hailey Town Center West from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today—Wednesday, July 29.

Stegner is a lifelong Idahoan and former Idaho Supreme Court Justice who is running as an independent candidate.

He hopes to initiate community conversations during his visit in Hailey.

"The people who live and work in our communities understand their challenges better than anyone else,” he said. “Idaho is worth fighting for, but that starts by listening to one another, rolling up our sleeves, and doing the work together. That's how we solve problems, strengthen our communities, and preserve what makes Idaho the place we all love."
