Want to take your singing out of the shower onto the stage?

The Caritas Chorale is looking for singers to take part in the group’s spring sing. No audition is needed.

“It will be an interactive choral concert, which invites people to get involved as they are comfortable,” said Director R.L. Rowsey. “Singers can simply listen, sing along on some unison parts or learn an easy choral section and sing along. Drawing from the extensive Caritas library, the songs will be beautiful, fun, and accessible. We'll focus on some core choral techniques that will prepare us for our next concert.”

Joining the Chorale should be of key interest to those who work Sudoku puzzles in hopes of sharpening their brainpower.

“Singing has been scientifically proven to sharpen your brain, reduce stress and introduce you to some of the friendliest people in the valley,” said Richard Stahl, the group’s president.

The Caritas Chorale typically practices at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Sun Valley Road.
