Sun Valley’s Charley French turned 99 this past month and we figure that’s reason to replay a video interview Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick had with Charley a few years ago.

It would take a myriad of video interviews to do justice to Charley—he helped create the modern double-paned ski goggles, tested the first pair of aerodynamic handlebars that revolutionized the sport of cycling and claimed multiple age-group world title in triathlon the cross -country skiing. And he’s still going strong, showing up at local Nordic trails, his skis in his sports car, and attending sports car rallies across the world.
