If nine inches falling on Baldy wasn’t enough to get you stoked for winter, perhaps Warren Miller’s newest film will.

Sun Valley Resort is showing “SNO-CIETY,” a new Warren Miller film Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1-2, at the Sun Valley Opera House. Attendees will have the chance to win a Pete Lane’s Signature Package, which includes a major tune, demo rental and free boot scan, at the event.

There’ll be two presentations on Saturday, Nov. 1—one at 5 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m. Sunday’s screening starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at https://www.sunvalley.com/events/warren-miller-film/?season=winter.

The film explores big mountain lines and a few urban lines in California, Colorado, New Hampshire, Austria, British Columbia, Finland  and even Scotland

The skiers taking you there include Idaho’s Breezy Johnson, Sofia Goggia,  Daron Rahlves, Britta Winans, Chris Rubens, Juho Kilkki and Judd Henkes.

The stoke will continue on Nov. 14 when Sun Valley screens Matchstick Productions’ “After the Snowfall,” a high-octane, heartfelt celebration of skiing.

It will be followed up by Sun Valley’s annual Pray for Snow party on Nov. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the River Run lodge. There’ll be raffles and giveaways with music by DJ Luke Ross and DJ Dot.
