Kick up your heels and join old friends and new friends in a Contra Dance Friday night.


Dancing will start at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and go until 9 p.m. at the Hailey Grange, 609 South 3rd Ave. in Hailey. The hall is just north of the Wood River Fire and Rescue and The Senior Connection.


The dance is open to all, including youth, singles, couples, first-timers and veteran dancers.


Doors open at 6 p.m. for a potluck dinner. BYOP, or bring your own plate to make it a trash-free event. Beginning instruction starts at 6:30 p.m. David Quingley will be the caller, leading dancers in a walk-through of each dance before they start.


Strings Attached from Twin Falls will provide fiddle, guitar, mandolin and banjo accompaniment.


Cost is $25 per couple, $15 for singles and $5 for those aged 13 through 19.
