Enjoy free ice skating and stargazing Sunday night during the Full Moon Ice Skating and Star Gazing Night.


The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at Atkinson Park in Ketchum. The City of Ketchum is providing free skate rentals and complimentary hot chocolate.


And the Idaho Dark Sky Alliance will have a telescope for views of the cosmos, along with tips on photographing the moon, kid-friendly crafts, informational posters about the Central Idaho Dark Sky Reserve in which Ketchum sits and updates on the observatory being built in Stanley.


The Sawtooth Brewery truck will be on site with food and drink for purchase.


Atkinson Park is located at 300 3rd Avenue or next to Hemingway STEAM School on Eighth Street.
