Tickets for Ballet Sun Valley’s 2026 Summer Festival will on sale today—Wednesday, Feb. 4.
The June 27-28 festival at the Sun Valley Pavilion will feature two different performances from the Pacific Northwest Ballet, including a co-commissioned World Premiere from Pacific Northwest Ballet Resident Choreographer Jessica lang.
Other highlights under the direction of Artistic Director Peter Boal include “Rubies” from George Balanchine’s legendary “Jewels,” Twyla Tharp’s “Nine Sinatra Songs,” Dani Rowe’s “The Window” and Ulysses Dove’s “Red Angels.”
This is the first time the Seattle-based Pacific Northwest Ballet has performed at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Founded in 1972, it is one of the largest ballet companies and ballet schools in the nation.
Its training program is highly regarded in the United States as a top-tier professional track while its main company performs throughout the world.
Thirty-eight Pacific Northwest Ballet dancers are set to perform in the Sun Valley Pavilion, according to Kelli Quinlan of Ballet Sun Valley. Lang, meanwhile, spent a week in residence at the Ernest and Mary Hemingway House in Ketchum this past year as she began to create the piece that audiences will see in late June.
Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased online at https://www.balletsunvalley.org/ or by calling Sun Valley Resort Recreation office at 208-622-2135.
