Take your pick from two Idaho troubadours tonight as the valley continues to enjoy a state of relaxation before the onslaught of tourists and second home owners.

Jeff Crosby will perform his Americana music at 7:30 p.m. tonight—Friday, May 15—at The Argyros in Ketchum. He will be accompanied by Hayden Redwine and Coy Braun, who grew up near Stanley as part of the musical Braun family.

Crosby, who was born and raised in Idaho, has landed two songs—“This Old Town” and “Oh Love, Oh Lord” on the FX series “Sons of Anarchy.” That opened the door for he and his band to perform more than 200 shows a year throughout the United States and Europe.

He has played lead guitar for Jerry Joseph and for the Austin, Texas, road warriors Reckless Kelly, founded by a couple of the Braun boys in 2019. And he’s co-written songs feature on Micky & The Motorcars recent release “Long Time Comin’.”

After three years in Nashville, Crosby returned to Idaho.

Redwine is a West Texas country and western performer whose songwriting draws from his experiences of growing up on a ranch and competing in the rodeo arena.

Cody Braun is a founding member of Reckless Kelly. He appeared on The Tonight Show as a youngster and has even performed at the Grand Old Opry.

In Hailey Tylor and the Train Robbers will make the trek from Boise to perform their brand of Americana at 8 p.m. at The Liberty Theater in Hailey. Tickets are $25.

Tylor & the Train Robbers features Tylor Ketchum, a lead singer with a gravelly baritone. Jason Bushman plays bass and backup harmonies and Tommy Bushman, drums and vocals. Rounding out the band is Antonio Vazquez, lead guitarist.
