Meet the Trot Squad whose motto is “We’ll get there when we get there.” Take a gander at the wonderful folks who ply Turkey Trotters with mimosas, cider and pumpkin pie.

Eye on Sun Valley’s Taylor Smith takes you to the scene of Hailey’s annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video. The family- and pet-friendly event started with Daryl and Mary Fauth more than 20 years ago and since has grown to encompass several hundred people.

Watch the trotters run through snow-free wooded paths kissed by the sun, and you’ll wish you had been there!
