Mike Baldwin was lured to Sun Valley to ski, during which time he quickly found a niche teaching skiing, as well. But he quickly established another niche for himself, turning river rock into art. The Bellevue artist makes beautiful shiny flower pots out of pebbles and he creates sun-shaped yard art paying homage to Sun Valley from copper, brass and steel.
Baldwin will be among nearly 90 artists taking part in the 27th annual Ketchum Arts Festival July 11-13 in Sun Valley’s Champions’ Meadow. Check him out before you go in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video.
