Nativities from around the world can be seen through Saturday at the LDS Church in Carey.

The annual Festival of Nativities celebrating the birth of Christ can be seen through Saturday, Dec. 7. Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. today—Friday, Dec. 6—and 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

A Kenya artist has an interesting flair.
 

Admission is free.

Church members have laid out an expansive collection featuring handmade nativities made by artisans from Kenya, Mexico and even the North Pole. And they’ve decorated the space with Christmas trees and other ornamentation to give it a festive look.

“It’s amazing—nativities from all over the world,” said Joanne Squire.
