STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

Still looking for that perfect Christmas present?

The Wood River Museum of History + Culture is holding its first-ever Holiday Market from 2 to 5 p.m. today—Saturday, Dec. 20.

The Museum will have an array of creative makers on hand. And there’ll be complimentary hot cocoa and spiced cider.

Among those selling wares:

Ronni Neumann of Stella Goods and her felted wool trees and leather bags

Heather Black and her photos in print and puzzle form

Kalie Rose cards, restocked for the Holiday Market

Jessica Miller's paintings and holiday items

Julie Weston and her Nellie Burns and Moonshine series of books

Photographer Anthony Anderson and his large puzzle of Baldy

Author John Rember and his series of books reflecting on life in the Sawtooth Valley

Karl Uri and his Vintage Sweaters

Laminated placemats featuring photos from the archives of The Community Library’s Regional History Library.

Additionally, Fred Pendl, who curated Sun Valley’s Konditorei Restaurant, will be selling Nussknackers—those divine Australian butter cookies boasting a crown of roasted hazelnuts and almonds atop hazelnut praline crème dipped in chocolate.

He will also have on hand Florentiners made of thin layers of almonds, dried cranberries and handmade glace oranges finished with premium dark chocolate. And Nussbaums—a walnut and cinnamon macaroon with raspberry and, of course, dipped in dark chocolate.

The Museum is located at 580 4th St. E. in Ketchum around the corner from the gold Mine.
