Parts of a road and other amenities around Redfish Lake will be closed this fall to make way for improvements to the Redfish Lake Recreation Complex.
The Redfish Outlet trail bridge, the area south of the Redfish Trailhead parking lot and areas east of the lodge facilities will close on Sept. 11. Work is also being done on Forest Road 214, the paved shoreline trail, the North Shore Picnic Area and the Visitor Center parking lot.
Forest Road 214 and access to Glacier View Campground will reopen May 19, 2024. The North Shore Picnic Area, Visitor Center, paved shoreline trail and vehicle access to Redfish Lake cabins will reopen by June 26.
