Sun Valley skier Lexi duPont is among the high-flying athletes featured in Warren Miller’s 75th film.
You can catch the new film, titled “75,” at 7 tonight—Saturday, Oct. 19--at the Sun Valley Opera House. The film starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17, available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sun-valley-id-warren-millers-75/
The film will take powder hounds to powder stashes and chutes around the world, including Canada, Colorado, California, Utah, Finland, Japan, Australia and—get this!—New Jersey. Featured athletes include Shaun White and 15-year-old phenom LJ Henriquez.
The film features new footage filmed and produced by Warren Miller Entertainment, including five segments in collaboration with producers whose careers were inspired by Warren’s filmography. Contributing producers include X Games host Selema Masekela and the Finnish-based production group Real SkiFi, along with Sherpas Cinema, Technically Doing It and Framework.
The film is the second intallment in the two-year celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Warren Miller film legacy. While last year’s film relived the ski trends, icons and innovators that defined winter sports for more than seven decades of Warren Miller films, this one features rising talent that focuses on the future of snow sports.
